Sharing Joy is a sewing centre for asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants and other women, providing them with a platform where they can learn new skills and build up their confidence to face the cultural challenges in the UK.  They have been sewing non-medical cloth face masks for the protection of people living in the Southampton area.

All masks are made of a double layer of fabric.  There are three different styles to choose from:

  1. Rectangular with two pleats and a pouch for a filter (you can use a filter or kitchen towel as a third layer for more protection).
  2. Rectangular with three pleats
  3. Shaped, available with or without a pouch.

There are also 5 different sizes:

  • Small children 3-6 years old
  • Young children 7-12 years old
  • Teenagers
  • Women
  • Men

Order your mask using our online form  and please make a donation to The Rotary Foundation, who are now funding Covid-19 projects and beyond.
